Pénombre is on its first release, and accessibility is ongoing work rather than a box checked once and forgotten. This page describes honestly what's supported today, and what's still being improved.

Dark Interface: Pénombre always uses a high-contrast dark theme, designed from the start to reduce eye strain — it isn't an option, it's the app's one and only look.

Full VoiceOver support, text-size scaling, and reduced-motion handling for people sensitive to movement aren't fully implemented yet. These are priorities for upcoming releases.

If you use assistive technology and run into a specific obstacle in Pénombre, we want to hear about it — it helps us prioritize correctly.
